Launch notes application in PIP during call simplified for India region devices.
With increase in work calls done over phone post pandemic, it was observed there were increasing number of users using notes app while on a call. With this rising trend, our aim was to create a more seamless note taking system while on a call.
Through this we as a design studio saw an opportunity to collaborate with SRIN-N (R&D Centre) to develop a simple UX driven solution with high impact & least development effort.
An additional touchpoint in notes app is created to launch notes app as a floating window during call allowing users to take notes without juggling between two applications.
Comercialized with One UI 6 in 2023, feature sat 11Mn+ users in the first year. As of today, feature marks 25Mn+ users.
